The NYSARC library, at 393 Delaware Avenue in Delmar, is a specialized collection containing the latest material on intellectual and developmental disabilities and related fields.
It is a resource center and archive used primarily by our State Office and Chapter staffs. Although not a circulating collection, we can help with reference questions, research requests, and referral information. Parents, students, and anyone interested in developmental or intellectual disabilities can visit the library.
The main collection consists of hundreds of volumes, reference works, videos, non-book materials, State and Federal codes and more than 100 journals and periodicals.
We also have compiled a history of NYSARC and maintain a comprehensive collection of the history on intellectual and other developmental disabilities in New York.
For access to the collection, please call for an appointment: (518) 439-8311.
