International Hermes Award Given For The Arc of Monroe County's Radio Spot
Commercial Success, a creative services firm providing innovative commercial solutions for businesses across the United States, was recently awarded a Platinum Hermes Award for their creative work on a radio spot for The Arc of Monroe County. More than 3,700 entries were submitted to the 2009 Hermes Award Competition. The Arc of Monroe award-winning spot was submitted in the "Non-Profit" category and received the highest honor.
The final Arc of Monroe spot featured three members of The Arc of Monroe County. Each individual shared his/her thoughts on how they would like to be treated by the communities in which they live, work, worship and play. Barbara Wale, the President and CEO of The Arc of Monroe County, served as the narrator. The commercial was created to increase awareness for National Developmental Disabilities Month in March 2009.
"We are delighted to learn that The Arc of Monroe spot won top honor at the Hermes Awards," said Gene Filiaci, Creative Director, Commercial Success. "It was a wonderful experience, partnering with The Arc of Monroe. The individuals featured in the spot spoke straight from their hearts and provided our team with the perfect material for a successful radio spot."
