Providing information to the public on the many topics and issues relating to the field of intellectual and other developmental disabilities is an important responsibility of our organization.
Through our NYSARC State Office and the activities of the Public Information Committee, NYSARC Chapters and the general public are provided with information on a wide variety of topics such as education, programs and supports available to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families, research and prevention, important legislation, current trends and issues and the many accomplishments of the people we support. |
